Bethesda, MD, January 4, 2016 – Farrington Law is pleased to announce the promotion of Margaret Jacobsen Scheele and Sarah K. Biran to Partner.

Margaret Jacobsen Scheele has been practicing employment law for almost twenty-five years and joined Farrington Law in 2004 as the firm’s second attorney. Margaret previously practiced employment law with Miles & Stockbridge and Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP, and served as an in-house employment attorney for seven years with MCI Communications Corporation. Margaret received her B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, her M.A., in History, with honors, from Syracuse University and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Sarah K. Biran joined Farrington Law in 2007. Before joining the firm, Sarah practiced complex litigation in O’Melveny & Myers LLP’s Washington, DC office and served as Associate General Counsel at Yale University. Sarah received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Williams College and her J.D. from Stanford Law School. After law school, Sarah served as a law clerk for the Honorable David F. Levi, then of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California.
