Gainesville, FL, February 19, 2016 – Farrington Law was named to the University of Florida’s 2016 Gator 100 during a ceremony today at the University of Florida’s J. Wayne Reitz Union Grand Ballroom with a keynote address delivered by former Florida Governor and United States Senator Bob Graham.
Sponsored by the University of Florida, the Warrington College of Business and the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, the Gator 100 ranks the fastest-growing businesses in the world owned or led by University of Florida alumni. To generate the rankings of honorees, Ernst & Young calculated each company’s compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past three years. This year’s honorees come from 23 different industries and collectively employ more than 40,000 people.
“It’s an honor to have our firm included in the Gator 100,” said Daniel E. Farrington, a 1994 graduate of the University of Florida and the founder and Managing Partner of Farrington Law. “Our growth as an organization is attributable to the world-class team we’ve assembled and the deep partnerships we have with our clients. I am committed to continuing to expand the firm’s capabilities to serve our clients around the country.”
“The Gator 100 is an important initiative that recognizes entrepreneurial excellence,” said Dr. Michael Morris, the Academic Director of the entrepreneurship program at the University of Florida. “It is open to any and all companies founded or run by Gator alumni, and recognizes those who are achieving growth, innovating, and making a difference in their communities.”
